Early in 2015 I was invited to make headdresses and bouquets for a collaborative photo shoot organised by Mya Fawcett of Silvery Moon Photography. The wedding shoot took place near Haworth at Stanbury Chapel, Ponden Mill and the wider, dramatic Bronte, countryside. Whilst driving from Haworth to Stanbury to deliver the headdresses and bouquets I was transported back to Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights! I must say Stanbury Chapel is in a stunning location and must be a wonderful place to get married.
Model Dee Delahunty’s Ranunculus floral crown. Flower crowns have become so popular these days for brides and bridesmaids and there are so many beautiful flowers that can be used for them.
I used seasonal flowers and foliages to make the bouquets. This rustic wedding bouquet had Hellebores, Ranunculus and other spring flowers.
Mosses, twigs and pussy willow were used to make model Kellie Parker’s headdresses. The models looked stunning in wedding gowns by The Bridal Emporium and Suzanne Oddy Design Ltd supplied the props and styling.
